Hello,

Playing a game in a small map with the germans, quick game. I arrived in 1981, and when I pass my turn the japanese conquer a City-State that used to be my allied. Then I wait, and wait, and wait, and my turn never comes! Exit the game, reboot the computer, restart Civ 5 (a 10-minute routine) and... AI's turns continue to never end.

Has anyone experienced the same?

(I have annexed the file - so if any of you want to try...)

Best regards,

Mad Hab

I have had the same issue, posted a response to a similar thread under confirmed bugs here.

Edit: Tried to load your game to check it, but I don't have the required DLC (Babylon, I presume?).

Yep. I was fool enough to give them extra cash in order to be unable to play my save games after the first "fix".

Checked your thread. It sure looks the same problem - and now I have 2 games I can't finish!

Thanks!

I had this happen, as a fix that doesn't make me happy but does let you keep playing:

When the turn never goes to you, but it is technically "your turn" you should be able to open the menu, save the game, then load it and it will be your turn correctly without hanging.

Finished a France game this way :)

Yep, this worked for me as well. Thanks for the tip! :)

An irritating workaround that nonetheless works perfectly for me, as well. Thanks!
