Hello all!

I'm here today to plug a new game me and my friends are organizing.

Basically you run a country in the year 1900 , it's politics, government, military, spending, and economic policy.

GDP and demographics are updated on an annual basis.

Wars and combat are handled via a highly detailed system that takes many details into account to yield realistic results that are not fully predictable.

So for all you history buffs out there this should be pretty interesting.

As many as it takes to cover all known history :p

Or until we get bored, considering they've existed in one form or another for nearly 2 years is pretty impressive in and of itself

Have you ever heard of the NES forum?

More like one gets made, it lasts a couple months, it dies, it's quiet for a while, and then another one gets made

If it makes you feel any better participation is not manditory, while it is welcomed

and we had one going for a little over a year, we just haven't had much luck lately due to an inability to get players... this current version has so far avoided that problem

And none of the major countries will be available, of course.

This sounds a little like NESing to me. And if the date was a little bit later, I might have joined as Qing China ;) Still, this sounds little interesting.

not to mention Canada

So it appears nobody has taken the best country after all

*ahem*

Our France joined and then never posted and went AWOL so the frogs are open if anyone wants them.

Did that French guy ever show up? just while I'm thinking about it

He made one post to sign up and then never posted again.

I thought I had 121.
