World Map 1800

does anyone have a detailed map of the world in 1800?

also, how many cities that exist today were established in the Pre-US owned Lousiana purchase territory?

Unfortunatly, there wasn't exactly politcal boundries in 1800 except for Europe and alittle of West Asia and North America. I doubt you can find a whole world map. In Lousiana, New Orleans, St. Louis, Independance where there, many major cities were forts.

Best I can do for you is just Europe (below). Don't forget that boundaries weren't very fixed outside of Europe and a lot of tiny nation-states fought over little parcels of land.

now, if only i could find a map of the Americas during colonial rule. i'm making a scenario for C3C, much like Age of Discovery, except that it is on a world map...and I need to fill out some of the space on america...

1) what year did the British Empire gain control of India...when did they begin invasion?

My old school liabuary used to have a book with loads of old maps in it. It was very intresting shame that was one of the only intresting books there

The British only gained full contol of India in 1850 before then they owned pieces of it. Similar to China.
