World-seam reveal map bug?

I'm still having all sorts of ATI problems, so this bug may not really be a factor on normal systems with the game running smothly, but in certain scroll locations, half the map on either side of the seam is revealed. The game-state doesn't actually think that part of the map is revealed, but graphically it is.

That just screams logic error somewhere in the fog of war code to me. I'm pretty certain it's the seam, since it's in different places in different new games, regardless of where the worldbuilder centers the map.

Some screenies:

I observed this problem as well. When near the map "fold" and in sight of undiscovered territory, the main view briefly and intermittently showed large sections of map as discovered, even though the small map still showed these areas as undiscovered.

I am using a GeForce4 MX 440 / 64 MB with the 6/15/2005 driver. Display is 1024x768, 16 bit, 100 Hz.
