I can say that definitely Ind & pak will not be the same , but then , India has offered full support , which Russia has not . So why not put American allies in one civ , Afgh. + Iraq & opposing countries in another ,russian+allies in another , & china in another , etc for other powers playing a significant role in the conflict (Northern Alliance). The events shuld give some bonuses to the afghans , or the afghans will be finished too fast . One could be the random appearance of units like terrorists & fanatics . Every time a terrorost camp is destroyed , the locals reform the camp in a new place ( just once) . The second time , it is destroyed & the Taliban loses money both times . There should be some unkillable units in both cities . There should be no objective cities ( the Americans don't want to occupy afghanistan ) , but the main goal of the Americans is to kill the "Mullah Omar" & "Osama Bin Laden" units . The americans should not be given the units to occupy afghanistan (remember the dummmmmmmmmmmmb AI) ,except spies, (but the northern alliance should) . The americans should have the best of missiles , but they should be expensive. The afghans get lots of cheap troops , weak with special partisan abilities ( familarity with terrain) . Then , there should be special air bonuses for the Americans . There should be bio & chem. weaons for the Taliban , in very limited quantity .
