This is my first post, so please do not criticise me too harshly!
I have created a rather unusual scenario. It contains the following civs:
Italy
Egypt (contains Sudan, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Somalia)
Greece (contains Albania, FYROM, Bulgaria)
Indonesia
Germany (contains Austria & Switzerland)
Russian Federation
China (contains N Korea)
United States
Japan (contains S Korea & Taiwan)
France
India (contains Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh)
Iran (contains Azerbaijan, Armenia)
Central America (contains all Central American countries excl. islands)
Congo (contains most of Mid-Africa)
Palestine
United Kingdom
Central Asia (contains Kazakhstan etc)
Spain
Scandinavia (includes Finland, Iceland, Estonia and Latvia)
Turkey (includes Georgia, Lebanon and Syria)
Canada
Saudi Arabia (contains the whole Arabian peninsula)
Australia
SE Asia (Thailand etc)
Iraq
Israel
Low Countries (Netherlands, Belgium & Luxembourg)
Portugal (includes Brazil)
Eastern Europe (most Slavic countries)
NW Africa
Argentina (includes Uruguay, Chile, Peru & Ecuador)
I have invented the leader names for Iraq and Palestine, since I did not know them!
I have changed the name of barbarians to "Insurgent Militia" - they are now a force to be reckoned with!
I have not added any extra units, since I am no good at modding. The following civs are playable:
China (big military)
United States (very big military)
Iran (has a nuke)
Palestine (battle with Israel; begins with Anarchy)
Israel (battle with Palestine; begins with Anarchy)
United Kingdom (big navy)
Saudi Arabia (has new govt, Religious State)
Iraq (begins with Anarchy; overrun by insurgents)
America occupies Iraq and has a base in Saudi Arabia. The easiest civs to play are either America or China due to their massive military. A challenge would be Palestine or Iraq who begin overrun by barbarians and with anarchy. An interesting civ would be Saudi Arabia or Iran, who have the new government "Religious State".
A word about the map - it is tiny, for fast-paced gameplay, and there are victory locations of oil on the islands guarded by insurgents. It is not meant to be anything like the real world - it is just a random map I made to keep the relations between countries tense. The real world political situation is probably nothing like this: I just made this to be playable. Don't try as Israel/Palestine/Iraq on anything after Warlord, though!
Please post your comments, but be kind!
The file is conquests only.
