World War 3 2015

How does this scenario represent the Cold War days? Russia is an extremely weak country that is in constant danger from China and the EU. Isn't this the opposite of the Cold War?

Anyway, I love this scenario. Keep up the good work.
 
Wait. Iraq has a democracy? Do you know anything about the various cultures living within the lines on a map we call Iraq, or about the current situation there?

Other than Iraq's type of government, though, you scenario seems good.

There are no communist countries, and there never were. A one-party totalitarian state whose ruling party calls itself "Communist" does not qualify as a communist nation. China is, irronically, fascist. The Soviet Union, on the other hand, was just some other temr which I do not feel like inventing.
 
Also, try to make every civ have its own color. Despite a few faults, however, your scenario is still one of the best I've seen in a long time. :goodjob:
 
It says it is configuring the scenario, and has been doing that for an hour. That happens with almost every scenario I d/l. What am i doing wrong?
 
Emm... Where can i download all files for this scenario ? :confused: I can find only some small files on this thread, but where's the big one ? :confused:

Leaving aside your rather unnecessary political ventings, I should point out that Dick Cheney will very likely not be alive, let alone President, in 2015. He's in his mid-60's now, with a bad ticker.
 
Looks great. Gonna play it when i get my game back. One suggestion you should put in napalmers. U.S would kick ass with B-52 Naplamers or agen orange. I know its 2015 not 1969 but hey Napalm Kicks Ass and I've been playing BF:Vietnam 2 much.
 
Hey, I'm actually back and I have still yet to figure out the damn file upload system! But, I am going to update it soon. I've been playing alot of RAR lately, and moding that so I'm just going to go off of their units for now... I'll probly finish it by sunday or so it's annoying how many improvements I have to add to all the cities and alot of the units Stats are going to be changed! I was for about 2 weeks working on a World362nsp_El_Mencey map but I hit the city limit after building all of Africa,Asia,Europe,Australia,and Island nations!! Dose anyyone know how to get past the city limit, I think it's hard coded.. Well I'll be posting a new thread soon thanks for the compliments :D

Problem is you got all these unique units; yet there is no way I can use them because there is no Units and Civilopedia folder that I can download? How do I play your scenario?
 
Is this suposd to be WW3 or a continued cold war?
IMO If it is a ww3 scenario then the whole idea is ridiculus. WW3 is likely to never take place at least as long as Nukes exist. People would be to afraid of a nuclear holocaust to go into major war. I meen Korea has a bout a dozen and that is enough to keep us out.
 
This scenario looks pretty good, especially for it being your first. Here is my feedback. Beware: I am nitpicky with geography and realism.

Ireland, Denmark, Finland, and Sweden should all be included with the European Union. Also, Switzerland isn't that important to be represented.. (sorry to all those Swiss out there). They just take up unecessary space in this scenario. Russia being communist against is an entire no-no, but it's your scenario so I really have no say. Belarus, Lithuania, Estonia, Ukraine should be seperated from Russia. I'm pretty sure the world wouldn't let Russia take over those countries again.

The Neutral League isn't needed. Switzerland and Mongolia making up a civilization.. it's a waste of space for a much more needed civilization. I would recommend giving Mongolia to either Russia, China, or the Pacific Defense.

Is this entire senario for Civ3 conquests?
 
I haven´t tested the scenario yet, but whit the information that you gave it looks great.
Anyway, i would recomend that you change the traits of Argentina/Chile to Agricultural and Commercial (Industrous is too exagerated, these countries bases their economy more in the agriculture than in the Industry, and Religious, well, as a chilean i know that the population believes more in the money than in God so, i think its better to put them Commercial that is the most important thing for the chilean people).
Another recomendation is that you could change some leaders of some countries, its weird that in 10 more years Putin would still be leader of Russia, or in the case of Argentina/Chile to have Kirchner as leader.
Well, hope these recomendations help you.

Man, Ive got a cutting edge computer and Ive been waiting for my third turn for amost one hour now :cry: . First and second turn worked fine, five minutes or so waiting time, but third is going ridiculously slow.
