World War II European Front

Hello! I'm nearly finished and i just need to playtest the mod but I have few questions if you guys could help me find answer what would work best.

1. heavy bombers fly at high altitude (20-30,000 feet), where they were less vulnerable to enemy fighters and antiaircraft guns.
I thought of giving heavy bombers stealth flag so that they can bomb and they would be out of range of most fighters and AA guns. I also thought of raising chance of intercepting stealth missions from 5% to maybe 20-25%.because Bombers aren't stealth just that they fly way higher
Also all Jets will also have stealth flag because of their speed and shock they created on then battles in the air
Also i'm thinking regular interception should also be drop down from 50% to 40% to simulate surprise arial attacks.

2. I'm thinking of giving large ships (battleships, Battlecruisers, Heavy and Light cruisers) ability to carry floatplanes. They would be designated as tactical missiles and ships would have flag to carry them. I'm wondering should i give them attack/defend(intercept) abilities or just allow them to be used as scout. I don't know AI would use it but enemy AI knows often where your units are so its worthy trade

3. I usually give Battleships more hp bonus points but this was age when battleship become obsolete because of aircraft carriers so should i use hp points(1 or 2 max) for very special large classes like Bismarck, H-39, Richelieu,, Iowa, Montana, Littorio, Yamato and Super Yamato classes.

4. About size of armies Germans had all in all around 30 field armies numerical 1st to 25th but soviets had much more in number yet there were smaller than german ones. So for most soviet armies i thought just have certain unit with more HP points but not actually army. for actual soviet armies I thought just use the for special guards armies like 1st Guards Tank army etc...

Please tell me what you think. This will be massive project and i can't wait to share it with you. Hope you'll like it ;-)

1. Afaik, this would make them invulnerable; I suggest giving them more HP points instead. Otherwise you end up having to create some counter-stealth AAA/fighters...
2. Floatplane scouts are a cool idea, but not for attack. Most of those planes were far too small and weak for that; some could carry small depth charges or light bombs, but that's it. The italian navy did try to use shipborne fighters as last resort interceptors, so I guess there's some precedent. I would suggest a scout, with low air-air values.
3. That's a hard one... yes, they did become obsolete, but only against massed attack; 1-2 planes attacking a BB always ended in disaster. And you can't really replicate a massed air raid in Civ... so you can give them 1-2 HP more, or increase their AAA, which is actually more realistic. Many WWII BBs were allready sailing in 1940, and their "HP"s didn't change, but the numbers of AAA went up drastically. Maybe make an early war version of a BB, then a late war one, same basic stats but with double the AAA.
4. I don't understand. Are armies here a fixed unit called "army"? Not the old "army unit that transports others"?

- I suggest giving Heavy Bombers a good defense and HP penalty. AFAIK HP's are not taken into account against ground-based air defense (so Heavy Bombers are invulnerable to ground fire) but still could be shot down in air combat. Also Moff Jerjerrod created a class of Invisible night bombers for his version of WWII Global scenario--they could be intercepted only with dedicated night fighters with *Detect Invisible" flag and it worked pretty well;

That's an excelent idea! Could one create a "radar guided flak gun" with the same flag, available only in late war?

1. You have under general settings chance of intercept slealth missions. Its normally 5%. I was thinking to raise it to 25-30% So they will be intercepted just to a lesser degree than standard
Also normal interception percantage is 50% but i'll drop that to 40%.
But i can try adding more hp also
2. Ok floatplanes as scout on capital ships will be implemented
3. I usually give Battleships hp+5 points and AA 5points, Heavy cruisers have AA 4-3, light cruisers 2 and destroyers 1 AA value
Its also depends on what armament different ships carry. specialized AA cruiser or battleship like Yamato which had great concentration of AA gun will make that number go up or down
4. Everyone will have normal armies that load units. Germans had 30 field armies 1st to 25th and 5 panzer armies.
But soviets had over 100 armies as far as i know. and they were smaller than german ones so i thought giving soviets army that loads units only for Guards armies and special cases. For lesser armies i thought of just add special unit with more hp points and call it an army

I was thinking of that so that i can implement all those units for regular bomber and fighters for night bombers and night fighters but my problem would AI build and use them
I would love to have british night bombing and german night bombing during blitz just i wonder will AI use it

AI spammed these pretty often.
