World War Scenario

[The Art of War]

Not the regular World War I or II. No, this is Harry Turtledove's World War scenario. I am doing this scenario and calling it the American Front. It will totally take place in the continental U.S.
If you have any knowledge about scenario creation and/or the WW Series, I'd love some help. Thanks in advance!

You may have to be a little more specific, 'cause I know hundreds of WW-scenarios and consequently hundreds of WW-scenario-makers (Including myself )...
I'm sure we can help you, but as stated, you may need to be more specific in your request.

I just realised that Harry Turtledove is an author... Sorry... Don't know any of his works. I'm sure, though, that someone else does (maybe at Apolyton?).

If you need ideas, eomeone has actually done 3 sceanrios based on Turtledove (available in Downloads section):

1. How Few Remain -- Set in 1880.

2. American Front -- Set in 1914 (WWI)

3. American Empire -- Set in 1920s.

Note: #1 never worked for me, it always crashes as soon
as you make it go through a turn;
needed the "No Limits" version of Civ2 Gold to get the
other two to work.

Whoops, sorry for the lack of info. WW: American Front is about the US during WW2, when the Race, Lizard bi-peds, invade the earth. They are far more advanced, using nukes on many capital cities, along with have advanced machine guns, armor (think of the Abrams M1-A2 vs. the Nazi Panther). The whole planet unites together to defeat the Race. This scenario will start in 1942.

Actually, The Great War: American Front is a different alternative history story by Turtledove. It's a story based on the premise that the South won the American civil war. It picks up with the beginning of WWI, with the North allied to Germany and the South to England and France. I find it to be a compelling read overall. It would definitely make a great scenario!!!

They have one in scenarios, I think. I'm on the third book in the WW Series. I figured I'd do a bunch of scenarios, like my first WW: American Front, then English Invasion, Combat in Europe, Manchurian Front, etc.

BTW, is there any way to make a unit that has Chem. Warfare? Like a missile that when it explodes lets out mustard gas?
