Worldcup civ2

How do people feel about a worldcup tournamet civ2 ??
Take 2 or 3 players for a countries team and play 2 on 2 or 3 on 3 games against each other.Then the winners go trough etc.. or maybe compettion in the beginning ?
How about it guys let me know.
(ofcourse one country may have more teams, we don't want anyone excluded)

Fun idea - bu thow would you know which players from the different countries should play in the world cup??
To do this we would need to have some internal competitions first - or should we jst make it a free for all??

its a bloody good idea but like u say compare the amount of yanks to the amounts of brits playing, or the amount of north americans to aisans, can hardly be called a world cup can it, bit like the american so called "world series" which only has 1 country in the world in it, i reckon like national heats and then national teams from them, like u play with 6 civs (3 for each country) and no barbarians so its just a free for4 all scrap, could work, but as i have said be4 BLOODY GOOD IDEA
