Worst AI Blunders

Earth 18-- As England, I took over Paris; later I piss Catherine off by refusing a demand and she DOWs a few turns after, bribes Julius in and they both close on Paris. Her stack consists of horse archers, and some macemen/siege and such. It's extremely backwards compared to me, but the numbers are pretty big and I only have a few redcoats and some random longbowmen. Since I knew Catherine was on my case, I whipped a castle in the meantime (lol, yea who builds those things?) to buy some time so I can create and ship more units from the island.

For some inexplicable reason, She sends all her horse units ahead of her army into my redcoats, leading to some pretty lol results. WTH? the rest of her army is two tiles away from Paris. You couldn't wait a little more?

Then Julius comes with like a couple praets and a few siege weapons. That would be have been great like 1000 years ago. Why are you even in this war?

In the end they suicided their entire armies in to mildly damage a couple of my units. I also sacrificed about 3 catapults for some collateral on them. That's the most pathetic excuse of a war I've seen. Thanks for Rome, though. That was also my first and only use of a castle.

This wasn't exactly a blunder as it was a historical inaccuracy. I was Frederick of Germany, and I had one more civilization to conquer, Churchill's England, until I won by conquest. He had uber-promoted redcoats everywhere, and I was running out of time (soon he would have infantry, which I was using) and units, so I decided to bomb some of his cities and I destroyed a SOD with roughly 20 units that he immediately sent at me after my DOW. A couple turns later, without even taking a city, he capitulated. To me, Frederick of the Germans. At least this wasn't the case during World War 2.

Not really a blunder, but very stupid of the AI.

I had a game where almost everyone decided to randomly Pvassal to Catherine. Saladin Pvassaled to Catherine even when they were different religons which really shouldn't happen as Saladin is quite the zealot.

Isabella is the AP resident; both she and Cathy are Buddhist. AP diplo victory option comes up, and it doesn't go through because they are opposing each other.

Then all of a sudden Catherine switches to Free Religion, and Isabella clicks Diplomatic victory again; it's me against Isabella. Catherine votes for her own vassal to win a diplomatic victory. WTH?

Anyhow, I had enough votes to block, and for whatever reason Catherine votes for me later on. Everyone in that game was just acting so dumb, lol. And eventually not being Buddhist caused the two to split-- why did you switch away Cathy? I've never seen an AI in control of the AP not stick with that religion.
