Worst game ever...what is yours?

How many guys did you have defending trinity when orthus took it?

Two or three, I think. But it was still very, very new at that point.

I was playing Bannor to take a look at the military structure they have for promotion. With 2 warriors in the capital I started to build the palisade and have archery underway.

Then Orthus poped up when I build my first fletcher so I converted the warriors into archers and have more comming. A few turns latter with Orthus roaming arround came the little bowman that shoot at 2 range (what is name ?) on top of that I made contact with a close neighbor none other than Clan of ember who casted For the horde spell. Dang, that was fun if short.

It was something around turn 70. I had 5 warriors in my capital so I figured I'm safe if Orthus shows up.

Suddenly, a freaking level 7 wraith(!!!) shows up and begins slaughtering my warriors without a scratch. Defeat.

Here's an annoying one: I'm building the tower of mastery when the last civs left in the game all simaultaneously declare war on me-I'm like ok, ok no problem I've got plenty of guys to handle this and I take 4 cities in the first turn(which I raze). I have a good offensive going when~ the plague hits and Stephanos spawns on the other side of my defenses and somehow converts my battle sluga and destroys my nearby improvements. I may have to rethink my slash-and-burn campaign...

I've never really had that many problems with orthus in my games, must be lucky I guess...
