Worst Game Ever

Trespasser. Oh the shudders I get. Good premise - explore Jurassic Park, fight your way to freedom, beautiful graphics.

Where did it all go wrong?

Then really, it's not that sucky of a game, it's just that it's designed for the younger audiance. Nothing wrong with that.
I know that, but the controls and camera are poor.

I think i played the demo of that game. Was it the one where the protagonist had an arm that felt like it was made out of rubber because it was impossible to steer it in any way? :crazyeye:

I remember how i tried to use it to move a barrel or something. It slowly drove me mad because it would swing everywhere but where i wanted it to swing. Argh!

What amused me was, while the physics engine was impressive (for the time), everything seemed to be covered in a layer of grease.

Want to create a ladder of boxes to jump across that wall? Fine, just manipulate The Arm and hope everthing doesn't randomly slip away when you place a box down on another.

In my defence, I bought it for £1.99 to see how horrific it was. And I have a love for all things Jurassic Park.

Generally, games from movies aren't the best. (possible exception to Spiderman and 007 games)

Mr bond i agree with the movie tie in angle ... remember some true cringe worthy games

I also agree valusoft titles aint worth the cd's they are burnt on lol

i have the worst N64 game ever. Micro machines. It gave me5 minutes of entertainment, then 5 hours of frrustration with the controls, the crappy courses and the crappy cars. It hurts to even think about it.

The worst "game" of all time is Survivor:The Interactive game published by...yep...Infogrames

The game was 90% PLACEHOLDERS!!!!...I kid you not.

No surprise Info ain't around anymore. It was their "publisher pressure" that killed this game and the developer as well.

Just so you know, Infogrames is still around, they just changed their name to Atari.

Worst game ever?

Most MMPORGs, less a game, more a job...a job you pay for in monthly installments.

Spend all day doing a boring action to level up to hit a different graphic, how interesting.

I had some serious issues when I bought WOW, after Everquest and Planet****e, why did I spend that money realizing once again that the genre is foul. Time played = power etc, ability, well you need little or none and there is little or no avenue for it how it got 94% in PC Gamer I'll never know.

MrBond

On the valusoft side some of their racing games have been pretty poor like midnight outlaw series or the hot rod series

The film tie in games have always been poor like the hulk , fantastic 4, any of the star trek series of games, even old ones like ghostbusters and rambo series of games were poor.

yeah, you can't really expect a good storyline from racing games and superhero games usually have difficult controls.

i'd have to say guildwars. that game is terrible in my opinion, so much hype over NOTHING!!! omg i played that for a few hours just to see its pretty graphics, but after that i realized that there is nothing more in the game than repetitive monster killing. holy **** kitten, u tell em, it is not fun at all. the only mmporpg i liked was diablo 2 where u can go hostile on noobs and kill them and take their money. i could do that all day with my sorc, omg those lighting spells are so fast and kills so well lol.

I can understand both sides views on MMORPG's, so won't comment there. I will recount what I found an amusing story though.

My friend, having wanted such a game for a long time, finally bought Guild Wars. He created a character and started playing online. I got to watch him on one random adventure, and wondered why he wasn't interacting with the other online characters. I was bruntly informed that other online players were stupid and weren't worth his time.

I found it amusing...I may be confused, but isn't the point of MMORPG's to interact with other online characters and not, as my friend with doing, the NPC's?

Halo... the only colorful (and pink) first person shooter out there.
