With no GE and having to build the UN manually, you must have finished Mass Media 100s of years before me.

I finished Mass Media in 1328, and I built the UN in 1484. I played this last part too fast (it's a bit boring slow building the UN). I had a very strong economy, and I could have saved up money and used US to buy it earlier. I even missed the first vote because two AIs switched ranks, making Brennus going from Friendly back to Pleased. Such things made me feel I didn't play a perfect game, but with such backup from strong players, I guess I should retract my statement.

Funny, there are some xOTMs where 0 or 1 player goes for a diplo victory and we have five already this game.

True! I must admit, diplo is probably my strongest game, and I often play for a diplo victory, even though I don't have time to finish many games. I'm glad I finished this time, it is always a bit more fun when more players go for the same victory.
