Haha, I certainly dont assume I can beat civ every time I play it. In fact, I lose far more often than I win.
Vra, having played a game while controlling the Palace, you are definately right. Running monasteries all over the place seems to be the best way to go. Unfortunately, I didn't have the AP's religion until very shortly before the winning vote was cast. Oh well, better luck next time.
