How about starting a "who's just been banned thread" so we know when someone is banned, only because peole start to worry when someone else is not around much anymore....

There're no set rules for that - generally, just someone who's proved to be a total pain, and has no more redemption value as a poster at CFC, despite repeated communications and advice.

But then, what do I know - I'm just a newb mod.

AFAIR only TF can undo perm-bans. I don't know if it was ever applied though...

Immortal was perm-banned once and was un-permbanned two or three weeks later. So, it has been done.

BTW. what's the longest non-permanent ban and the shortest ban (as it was intended, not a ban that was removed by TF early) ever performed here?

Restrictions are a personal matter between affected people, and the staff. End of story.

All you need to do is look at curt's last post in his info. It should be roughly when he was banned.

edit- He should be back on the 9th.

I think Zouave was temp banned for a month, he came back for a short time and then disappeared forever

I think I have been banned ca 5 times. The longest one lasted 2 weeks and I couldn't even PM people I think (I realy did piss AoA of that time).

I think the shortest time was for like half a day or so. When SunTzu (when he was the off-topic moderator) got pissed of me, banned me. And later Thunderfall dissolved it becouse it wasn't realy worth a bann, it was just that he personally got pissed of.

There are several folk who have run amok across all the forums posting links to xxxx sites who are permabanned with no hope of ever being reprieved.
