Yet another Orbis PBEM

That's bad. Can you reconsider this decision? I know you are now foreseeing prompt doom of your empire, but we are not playing chess where you give up a game forseeing inevitable chessmate in a few moves. The game gives much more solutions in this situation like: vassalisation, turtling in one city, looking for diplomatic help, resettlement(!)... and afterall, you can still have fun roleplaying even if you are losing. ;)

At this point there is truly no hope. Balseraph army was decimated destroying the Calabim and now we are at war with three enemies, as the rest of the world chuckles. The AI can fight on, if it wishes.

Michael, please hold on for a few more turns. You've been playing for 100 turns, a few more won't make a difference, will it? AI is terrible at warfare, allowing me to conquer your lands effortlessly would imbalance the game.

And on the subject of treachery: there was none on my part. We've never had any agreements that we would not attack each other. The only promise I made was that I would enter Calabim lands immediately after you, and I kept it.

I see also no treachery on my side...
quite contrary, the Bals attacked Calabim when they were already at war. As a defender, I did what I had to.

It's just a game. You guys don't have to justify your actions to me. I'm amazed that it makes much difference to anyone whether I continue to play. I can continue if it means that much, although at this point it really doesn't matter if its me or the AI.

mcwill, it would be nice if you play, not AI

I am leaving country for a week and cannot play in this period.
sorry for the break

Coombe View has been conquered and quickly pacified, yet the brave citizens managed to organize a revolt during which Marselius, a temporary governor, has been injured.

Turn 102 begins.

So, other than not mentioning me, how accurate is the player list on the first page?
I ask because I'm wondering who's playing those treacherous Hippus... :)

The Hippus are led by AI and their treachery can be attributed to massive injections of technology by non-AI parties

Turn 103 begins.
