"Your Details" stuck with generic options

Hi All,
The issue I am having with one of my savegames is that my "your details" screen which I open via Alt-D cannot be altered in my current save game.

The save is attached, as well as a screenshot of what I am talking about. The settings are stuck as per below
Leader Name: Name
Civ Description: Desc
Short Description: Short
Civ Adjective: Adj

I just want to change these back to the default for this game (Praz, Byzantine Empire, Byzantium, Byzantine), but whenever I alter these fields and press OK, nothing happens, so i press Alt-D again and the settings are back to the generic as above: Name, Desc, Short, Adj

edit:I should note that starting a new game with this mod does not encounter this issue.

I have tried some xml editing of the CIV4CivilizationInfos.xml and CIV4LeaderHeadInfos.xml files to no avail. I tried editing in world builder, but doing this means i have to start a new scenario with the saved WB file, and lose my current score\history.

Can anybody think of anyway to fix this?

I've not seen this as a problem unless it was in a pbem multiplay game where some ability to do this is limited after the first round.

Did you say you were playing a scenario? Perhaps that might have something to do with it?

Nah, just a normal custom game with c2c. The only way that I've been able to fix it was to open in bodybuilder, save, open that save with notepad, edit the "your details" section in notepad, save it and then open that bodybuilder file as a new scenario - but this changes the score and timeline of the game which I'm trying to avoid

Definitely an odd one.
