Your movies are not installed correctly

When I win a game, so far with Space Race and Dominiation victories, I get a message saying "Your movies are not installed correctly" and then the game crashes. I don't get any of the rating, demographic, or replay screen. My score does manage to turn up on the Hall of Fame when I restart the game. Anybody know how to fix this?

I've got the same problem. It happened before and after I installed the v1.09 patch.

I got that message when I manually deleted the intro movie file... Could the movies in question actually not of installed or are corrupted?

I've tried re-installing the game, and I'm still having the same problem. I'm wondering if my discs are mislabed as I play the game with Disc1/Install rather than Disc2/Play.

I have the same problem since I've installed Warlords. My wonder movies run very, very slowly or only show a black screen. Turned the graphics to low and turned the movie background off. No effect. When I finish a game it says "your movies are not installed correctly", and i get a desktop crash. Installing the latest nvidia driver for my GForce4 Ti 4200 (64 Mb) didn't work either.
Original Civ IV ran smoothly.

Any ideas how to solve these issues?

Yes, I noticed that too. In vanilla Civ4, my wonder movie goes smooth. But not after installed Warlords .
