Your recommendations for a regular Earth map

I've changed it, and it looks OK. Marla Singer, Rhye, and Kal-El also have them seperate, so I think I'll follow their lead and the advice of the above posters. Denmark may just be a few klicks away from Sweden, but theres a fair distance between the island of Copenhagen (don't know the right name) and Jylland, continental Denmark. So my above argument is flawed.

So you see forumites, positive feedback generates results :goodjob:

I also discovered last night that where you have a cross over between sea and land, ie

Land
Sea Sea
Land

Land units can cross it, but naval ones can't. I think it was different in CTP, but doing ti this way would make Skaggerack non-navigable, and also block the Aegean Sea from the Black Sea. What do you reckon I do for the Sea of Marmara (between Turkey and Europe, by Istanbul) - make it a land bridge or a water straight? I've made it water, though Kal-El did the opposite. It's not too hard for units to walk around, after all.

I like a waterway better.

Done some work on the Mediterreanean, Middle East, and North Africa.

Yes Asia and Africa are a mess I haven't done them yet ;) Saudi Arabia looks kind of small but I think that's because many other things are too big, many things are much further East than in proportion to Kal-El's map, which I was originally using as a guide. I'm not sure if I'll be able to squeeze China and Kamachatka on, I might have to go over the edge, but that'll look pretty bad. Still, a lot of earth mappers have inflated Europe, it might lessen the advantage of the Asian civs.

Africa is also going to stretch quite far South, it looks better that way IMO, I don't need huge oceans between South Africa and the Antactic, it just has to be circumnavigable.

And ANY feedback is greatly appreciated. But this is taking up too much of my time, so I shall leave it for today.
