German forces from all over der dritte reich rally into Berlin to protect the city from soviet bombardments, while a few bombers went on the wings trying to inflict some damage on the approaching soviet reinforcements.

Almost the entire Soviet Bombercommand was involved in the bombing of the Axis capital of Evil, Berlin. Seventeen AIR WINGS of Lancasters and Tu-29s threw of their payloads at day and night, destroying 5 Panzer IV divisions, 4 75mm cannons, 2 Wirbelwind Panzers, 1 Bf 110 and 1 Paratrooper division. The Soviet loses were limited to one Tu-29 and 3 Lancasters.

Allies land and capture Rostock, North-west of Berlin.

Irish capture belfast after bombardment from the sea. This is the first city I lost and I was quite supprised to see 4 militia spring up. Well they retook Belfast quite easily but the two Neutral cruisers are still running amok in the Irish Channel.

The surrounding of Berlin has been completed. With Rostock being taken by Allied Airborne division (the other option was Esbjerg) and Dresden and Magdeburg in Soviet hands, the German troops inside the Axis capital have no neighbour city to fall back to. But the humiliation of the Axis isn't complete; Salzburg was taken by Minor Axis forces after all.
Esbjerg will probably be the next Allied target, or maybe a French city, but Chukov warns his British friend for Kiel; since the Axis never reached Brest, all lost torpedos must be stacked inside of that city. Even the Soviet bombers wouldn't be able to destroy all of them and take the city in one turn (before they re-appear).

yep, that's why i steered clear of esbjerg. I actually planned to to sabotage the city fortifications and then reduce the population to zero but there's no time for that now.

Managed to hunt down one neutral cruiser. Lots of b-29s flying across the atlantic. that is all.

BTW, Morten, I think I saw a u-boat moving. DId you press CTRL-N?

mrmrgmrgrmem.......when the hell does Berlin fall??? Changed some production to Tu-29; we have more than 30 T-35/85s anyway, and the Tu-29s are more needed....

There is still time for the Allies. The soviet blockade of Berlin has been broken by german air defences.

I'm trying but my forces are just too far away.

Allies discover Gloster Meteor and it is now being mass produced to as a means of destroying units with air cover.

Allies land in Toulon easily - not that we want to but units from Africa can't exactly go by sea to Berlin.

Allies commence daylight bombing of Berlin. Command of the skies have also allowed us to destroy all german units approaching our cities in Northern Germany and Southeast France. We advise Herr Hess to stop wasting units trying to counterattack.

Chukov is pleased to see the Allied bombing Berlin as well, although he is very aware this is just in their best interest since they wait to move in the paratrooper in Rostock.
