    they just relased fire and that versions has been on the way for months - expect the next release to take atleast as long. The Design team usually don't reveal much detail so far ahead of the fase.

    I hate to be the policeman here but thats illegal. You are allowed to make a duplicate of your cd for use at home, by that it means cd --> cd and dvd --> dvd. You are Not allowed to use a virtual drive or otherwise crack the .exe file - that is a breach on the copyright. Only exception...

    The Sailors Dirge

    I have now encountered the dirge twice - one of the times I didnt stand a chance but the second it had only spawned 2 skellies and I had 2 warriors(one with strengt 1+shock) pulled it through just barely. I think it is just right - its a big threat early on, but that is just part of the fun.

    I usually build 3 cities, meanwhile I take a few growth techs that a apply to the land and then go for religion. Unless I am forced into military action by ai or babarian, then I focus on a straight line to religion and make sure my armies holds up. But then again thats the fun of the game...

    The barbarians can be a bit annoying at times - but I have become used to them and the challenges they come with. How you deal with them depends on which civ you play - but yes the early game is a battle for survival (at least with raging barbs) If you want to take a break from fighting...

    Fantasy Map (using Kael's FfH) (147x34)

    just put it in the public maps folder. then load the ffh mod up. Select either play a scenario or custom scenario. There you just choose fantasyv03 and everything should be easy from there ;-)
