Spy mission kidnap specialists does nothing except notification, no change to GPP, no change to number of turns to get GP.
There is no positive, nor negative changes when I execute the mission and if get notification of AI success in my cities.
Can’t reproduce this, in my games it works correctly. It’s only specialists in the capital that get additional GPP. Any additional UI mods?

Also, please report bugs on github and not here, and attach a save game.

I'm playing War Madness with V4.5.1.
If you order the construction of a power plant in the Information Era, a CTD will occur.
If you give construction instructions to around 10 cities, this will occur regardless of the type of power plant.

The following functions may be affected. (The screen will flicker when you hover over the power plant)
- When hovering over a building, the tiles that it would boost are now highlighted (also EUI only)

In addition to VoxPopuli, I use the following MODs.

・Increase in scientific power necessary for acquiring technology, etc.

Since automatic translation is used, some expressions may be incorrect.

One more question.

Even if you acquire "Imperialism - Civilizing Mission" and capture a city, the circus and zoo will always be destroyed.

This issue also occurred in versions prior to V4.5.1.
Is the MOD doing something wrong?

It seems like the Shoshone gets the combat bonus from being close to encampment even if it has been pillaged. Is it intended?

If it isn't too much trouble, would it be possible to have an option to configure singleplayer notifications like they are in multiplayer? Being interrupted every turn by a pause for leader portraits to present me a 2g for open borders every other turn really slows down the gameplay, when they could be preloaded like in multi.

Also if there's any way the community can meaningfully help during this time, happy to try my best.

There are options to turn off the notifications there. Doesn't turn them into MP-style trade offers though, we don't have functionality for that at the moment.

If you use a modpack you can start a multiplayer game in local network with only you and AIs, I think it should work.
 
I noticed the displayed amount of turns required to build an improvement is sometimes not accurate, for instance it shows 2 turns left to build a road but it actually only needs 1 turn. Has someone else had the same issue?

I think in this thread it's everbody's right to talk about problems and bugs, ask questions and give feedback related to this patch version without being obliged to report a bug on GitHub. And especially not being aggressively forced to do so after writing something like "I have this problem, anyone else?"

If somebody thinks it's a problem that should be solved then somebody will report it on GitHub. If not, it's probably not a real or important problem. You can't force the community to cooperate, you can only ask for cooperation.

Very often (too often) people notice a bug and report the bug here, in the Version threads, despite having told time and time to report on Github instead, and having a sticky thread about bug report. I can totally understand the devs feeling tired, and angry, whenever a new "found bug" comment appear here. I'm gonna start a thread for people to discuss about bug before making a ticket, hopefully it will concentrate questions and stop those to pop on the Version threads.

Just finished a game (514 turns, science victory) with the last version.
I have to say it was a blast. I had the most stable experience of the last few months in terms of CTD (3 in total after Industrial era) despite the large number of enabled mods and players on the map (22).

I don't really understand where the big problem is if a "found bug" or a "is it really a bug?" comment appears on the version thread. Isn't that also a purpose for this thread? Everybody's involvement in this project (and I don't just mean the devs) is completely voluntary. The devs don't have any obligation to the users. The users don't have any obligation to the devs (only if they want their problems to be solved).

If somebody writes "I have this problem" the devs can decide if they ask for a bug report, ignore the issue or report it themselves. In a voluntary project it certainly isn't forbidden (or a reason for a harsh tone) to talk about a bug and then decide for yourself whether to report it or not.

Especially if you just want to ask beforehand if anyone else has the same problem.

I think, I rather have a user telling me about a bug in a forum (or talking about it with others) than a user keeping quiet and thinking "nah, they will find out themselves or someone else will tell them". The sooner you will accept that "bug comments" will never go away, the sooner you will find peace of mind.

Emperor, tech leader at 45 techs, authority> artistry > industry, 11 cities. had control over most of the CS (only 6 now after chipping down some).
I guess correct religion helps (extra yields on wltkd) but damn thats a lot of gpt.

No my leader in a similar point is on about 400 net at 50 techs. I'm actually beating him on 420 (nice) at 45 techs.
Neither of us have industry which would put it much higher I think

Where do you get the gold from?
I struggle to stay even on positive (in current).
