Young people immoral, apathetic, rude, soft, lazy?

Is it OK that I'm a kid and I think kids are rotten these days?

    "Monitor-less" Computer Use

DOH! I should have remembered to use one of the TWO empty hard drive slots in the side of the computer. I got the master/slave to work, and accessed my files. Thanks all!

    "Monitor-less" Computer Use

Ok, it looks like I'll have to switch the hard drive regardless. Actually, I am familiar with switching drives, but only with a single computer. I am concerned about driver incompatibility and the like, as the working computer (which is more important) is set up quite differently (more...

    "Monitor-less" Computer Use

I have a Windows 2000, and the motherboard, which needs to be replaced, just stop sending video to the monitor. That is not in doubt. But until I get another motherboard, I still need to get at some stuff on it. I have another computer Ethernet-ed to it, but the best I can think of is copying...

Who is the most moral person in your eyes?

From the christian viewpoint, I believe they'd be equally immoral. Being immoral just makes them both sinners, not one lesser sinner and one greater sinner.

Can't see enough of program window!!!

Max res is 1024X768, new monitor not an option. Both Alt+space+m and Alt+space+s with arrow keys fail, Windows bumps the window back down again. Thanks for advice, though.

Do you enjoy religion? Is it a source of fun to you?

I definitely enjoy being a christian, though I am a bit too old to find bible stories funny. :p

Can't see enough of program window!!!

A friend of mine needs to use a program with a poorly designed GUI. One window has content that is larger than his (LCD) screen at max resolution, and there is no scroll bar! He can't make the window large enough to see what's at the bottom, and he's running Windows , so he can't move the...

    Programming

Java is actually very nice to learn if you use the Eclipse IDE. It's good for those who don't want to be overwhelmed at the start, and if you have an actual person to help get you started, you're fine.

    Diamonds in the rough

I thought about that, but think this might be the better forum because I am looking for more 'intellectually' (can't think of the right word for it) interesting games (not a fun shoot-em-up minigame, for example), and also hoping for some discussion about them. EDIT: Oh well :)

    Diamonds in the rough

Most small games you can find on the internet are pure trash, but sometimes, good games can actually be found online. I have found a few that were actually worth it, and was wondering what other have found. Post any games you found that had something that made them stick, whether it be...

Genetically engineered pets to be on shelves soon

Ummm, even if this is okay from a genetic standpoint, surely it is wrong to package them. So they're hibernating. We could use tranquilizers on puppies and package them, but then it would be Wrong! /Gasp!\

Iraq war supporters: what positive benefit has the Iraq war brought to the US?

Positive: The Kurds aren't being gassed anymore. But, like usual, no one cares about them...
