  • IF it comes to pass that House Altright or some other house claims the bridge and refuses to leave forcing a battle, then once we take the bridge, erect all possible field fortifications on both sides of the bridge to protect against further assaults, but allow all peace meaning people passage on the bridge and river. Either way, only the garrison troops assigned in my orders are to stay unless Altright sends a large host to take the bridge immediately.

Stay firm that the bridge is property of Enderton and by extension House of Altright and any others that lay claim to it are doing so unlawfully.

Hope this isn't too long or too late.

NOTE: Sorry for the 3 posts. I apparently wrote a VM that was too long and didn't feel like cutting out parts (I'm already half asleep). Read from down up if you want the full message. Sorry.
If he arrives to just non-bandits, then ask them what they are doing here. If they are here merely to aid Enderton in clearing the bridge of bandits, inform them that we will take it form there, then proceed to the garrison info for the bridge and enderton detailed in my orders. However, if they are trying to make the bridge owned by their house (as House Altright to the south may do judging from his diplomacy) kindly inform them that anybody and everybody can use both the bridge and the river that which passes under it, but that it actually belongs to the village of Enderton and by extension the House of Aarlehn. If they refuse to leave, attempt to use non-lethal force to force them to, but first make every possible effort to persuade them to leave first, including bringing the entire host to bear on them. If they resist, full assault.
If its not too late, heres his (although its Michael, not Gabriel, if you are talking about the bridge near Enderton) response in different scenarios:

If he arrives to both bandits and non bandits, cooperate with the non bandits (presumably forces from other houses sent in aid) to eradicate the bandits.
Added birth months and days to the original post of my house in case you want to use them for anything. You noted in the OP I believe that you might.
And I actually missed the post about the marriage until you said so here ad I went to look for it. Sneaky edits.
The offer will still stand for as many turns as needed. But I understand and agree with your reasons for making me wait, including the enjoyment :p.

On the other foot, since you seem to be baiting us in regards to Harwood, I would like to offer the widowed Katherine Harwood a marriage with my son Michael, in which case Michael would become a vassal to the head of the family and take control of Goldenleaf as new husband of its current leader. We are of the understanding that we are the only ones who have made such an offer.

Btw, ZD said he would be away until the 24th in a post in the thread, so don't hold your breath waiting for him.
Do you have something special in mind in regards to the marriage, or are you deliberately making me wait? :p
Also, do cities that are the size of Aramoors on the map have walls? If so, how small can the city be and still be expected to have walls?
Approximately what are the typical strengths of the defenses of the towns on the map that aren't controlled by one of the players or NPCs?
I'll be away for the next... 3 weeks or so. If possible, can you please NPC my House for EltNES until I'm back?
I posted a little bit of an explanation of Scallarene language sometime pre-Update 0. Basically follow the instructions there and string together a few syllables to make a plausible first name. Same with the last name, and if you care about *correctness* put ĭ btween the two, which means "born of". In everyday conversation it's often left out for ease of conversation though, so don't worry too much about it.
Well, I do not absolutely require stories. They would be nice, but as long as you get your orders in on time, respond to diplomacy, and maybe post an occasional harrowing tale of any length or designation, I'm okay. :)
Yeah, that is completely acceptable. "The leaders of Wesfrenks (or Kingdom of All Frenks, as some are now calling it) spent their time and effort on maintaining their rebuilt army."
