  • This is the second or third time I've done something like this. You should stop being surprised... now.
I'm pretty much done now execpt for the map. No pressure, but I'd like news of it soon.
it would have failed for sure. China was WAY more powerful the any european power back then...
yeah, but technically speaking they were the economic power of the world. If it tried it probably could have projected its powers on others, but realistically speaking it is to far away from Europe for it to matter. The only thing that could have changed was China fighting the Europeans for the new world. But other then that I don't see them ever engaging in combat...
well I find the most I expand the more rebels I attract. In a game where I litterally control all of Europe (I'm England, the Ottomons are my neighbour to the south and the Golden Horde is my nieghbour to the East, all of HRE has been eliminated.) I have an average of 6 rebel spwarns every other month. I can no longer reasonably expand as my entire army is fighting rebels.

Ming was the world power at the time. In the 1400s their estimated GDP is greater then the rest of the world combined (not counting Mughal). However they were isolationist, they didn't care about the rest of the world and ignore everything that was happening outside their country...
I admit that they do bend some historical facts, however they would put a guy as HRE who never was so...

I didn't know that about the provinces of Hungary, as I have never played them...

However I am surprised you didn't talk about how underpowered the Ming is in EU3 as an example, I have not played DW so in my one there are no daimyos.
It starts off as the leader of the HRE in EU III, I seriously doubt that would be the case if they weren't even in the HRE.
However granted that was 1399, 150 years after this...
It might have been the largest ethnic minorty group then...

And they were, you admitted it earlier:
"King of Hungary was also simultaneously Holy Roman Emperor"
According to the modern day ethnicity of Hungary, the largest population is German...
They must have been in the HRE if they were the leader of the HRE...
As said the HRE was an alliance of member nations, so if one is being attacked by a foreign power, then the others will assist.

Given that during the Mongol Invasion there were minor skirmishes between them and Venice and them and Bohemia, it is clear the the HRE did have involvement in the war on Mongolia...
@what Kraz said, yeah I do it all the time. How else do you expect to top the hours logged charts? :3
