This issue appeared in an online duel game, at marathon speed.
It appears to me that trading posts are not always working to extend trade route ranges. See the attached screenshot and save. FYI, Bydgoszcz is exactly 15 tiles from Wroclaw, so within normal trading range.
In this game, I had previously completed a trade route from Radom to Wroclaw. (This should not matter, but I then started that trader going once again along the same route.) So, I should have a trading post in Wroclaw. Now, I build a second trader. The new trader should be able to take advantage of the trading post and get from Bydgoszcz to Radom or vice versa. However, as you can see in the "Available Routes" panel, the only trade route allowed between those two cities is one of the two directions. In game, I also found that one direction was disallowed.
Perhaps related to this bug, I think there is an interface issue. The "Available Routes" panel does not have the trading post icon lit up in Wroclaw.
