I played Civ 6 for a bit after a long time. I played a game but when I discovered the leaders now have haircuts gone wrong. I tried a few other games to see other leaders and behold:

As you can see, turning off shadows makes the problem very easy too notice. I'd shudder to think if this was Firaxis trying to cut corners for better performance.

I am experiencing the same issue. Any solutions?

The only thing I found was to turn off leader animated quality, but it doesn't fix the issue.
You can set leader quality to low, and everything works fine. What is the difference between low, medium and high, anyway? 'Cause I didn't notice anything major.

I have reverted back to DirectX11, and it has solved the issue.

Had the same issue with leader's hair, reverted to DX11 and it partially get fixed. Still hair look kind of weird, hoping that a future patch will fix this problem.

Trajan screenshot for example. It's hard to tell when non-animated, but those hair look weird in-game.

That happened to me yesterday, a few hundred hours in, with graphic options maxed out. Tried deleting all mods etc...

Finally managed to fix it by going to: Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization VI

Then deleted all files in
Cache
Logs
and all the .txt files at the root (appoptions.txt,graphicsoptions.txt etc, they all are regenerated on reboot anyway).

That fixed it for me. I suspect you only have to delete graphicsoptions.txt but I have no way to test this anymore.

Also deleting Mods.sqlite will make all your mods on by default, so you may want to keep this one.
And abviously deleting HallofFame.sqlite will remove the hall of fame, so don't delete this one.
