I was interested in using AOL's Call Waiting service, but my mom flatly said no when she found out it would be an extra $3.95 a month (this was back when AOL was at 8.0)

And it's still 3.95. Only now they are saying "Now $3.95 per month!*" Plus they made it sound like new.
