1.09 Minor new bug? Strange fog of war behavior

This is a minor bug I'd hate for firaxis to spend resources fixing, but I thought they should at least be aware of it.

On loading an old saved game, I got a wierd dot of fog of war, marroned between 4 revealed squares. Screenie:

Can anybody tell me how to delete a message ? Cursor on edit-button gives
edit/delete message, but than i can only edit.

Isn't that the centre of the world marker or some such?

Don't pull the plug the oceans will drain away.

I think Wolfwood is right. It's exactly in the middle of the map. So that means
if you see it in the early game you immediately know where you are on the map
so it spoils that feature of the game.
