[1.7.9 & 2.0.46] "-12 from global buildings happiness" bug?

Hi, can somebody explain to me why I have "-12 from global buildings happiness"?

Probalby it has something to do with "A city cannot create more Happiness than its Population."
 
No, I think there is still a serious bug with buildings happiness. Note that no happiness from buildings is being displayed.
 
Adding more pics from some turns later.

1. Total happiness are displayed differently: 101 vs 114
Also 50 local city happiness is somewhat unclear to me.

2. Tempel happiness from religion is missing. I have Religious Center, 4 cities with temples and 5+ followers. (one city without temple and one puppet city)

I'm going to assume the total happiness in the economic summary is probably accurate if there's a "magical" penalty being applied.

Which is very bad since we'd prefer to have total happiness at a glance.
 
Seems that total unhappiness is also incorrect. What exactly non-occupied city means and why is there displayed 24 - should be 6 (# of cities) x 3 (per city unhappiness) = 18?

Also what exactly is Global and local happiness?
For example if I want calculate my capital city Addis Ababa total happiness.
I got from buildings 10 happiness + "Global happiness (x14)" building + Local happiness (x5). Why there is displayed 16 happiness on economic summary?

The per city tooltip is incorrect. GEM cities are 4 unhappiness per. Tooltip needs to be updated.

The 16 in addis ababa also looks right. Local happiness can't exceed population. It would be 19.
I am not sure what the breakdown of sources of happiness are for it. It is possible those are bugged.

I don't think global happiness is supposed to interact like that however. It probably should be 19.
 
Summary - there are 3 defects discussed in this thread:
Critical defect: Tempel happiness from religion is missing. I have Religious Center, 4 cities with temples and 5+ followers.
Major defect: Incorrect total happiness on upper infobar
Minor defect: The per city tooltip is incorrect. GEM cities are 4 unhappiness per. Tooltip needs to be updated.
 
I would say both of those are major/critical defects, not one or the other. We need the UI functioning properly instead of having to dig for proper happiness every couple of turns. That's a serious problem.
 
I've spent about 10 hours trying to figure out the causes of the UI issue. It's a very difficult problem to track down.

I've spent about 20 hours working on reverse-engineering each individual belief from c++ to lua. It's a time consuming and error-prone process because Firaxis designed most beliefs separately, with very little overlap in effects (more like Policies than Units). I attempted to solve the belief happiness problems several times. I will try to track down the issues again when I have free time.

I believe in the last version you disabled some auto refreshing in order to increase speed. Have you tried turning that back on? I don't think it will fix this bug, but if its the cause of some of the UI delays and out of date issues then it might make narrowing the bug down easier.

Seems that this happiness bug is also related to local happiness and there is still a refreshing delay which makes tracking hard for me.
Nevertheless I'm posting 4 pics about incorrect happiness during conquering a last Japan city.
1. Just before conquering a city.
2. Attacked city and puppet it.
3. Same turn, happiness changes.
4. One turn later.


Thalassicus, if you have a suggestion how I can help to track this issue then let me know (turning logging on, savegame, some other game situation with or without belief etc...)
