This wasn't really an insult. It's just a way to try to shed light on the state of mind of the Arabs you are so eagerly trying to exterminate. =)

If Tim, 1889 and I can all get through our turns in one day and we have a turn waiting for Onclouds, we should be able to get back on a 1-turn/day cadence...
 
Well. . .I have to warn you all that my schedule will be very erratic over the next three months. I don't know if I have mentioned this to all of you yet, but I work in the film business in Hollywood. Basically the whole entertainment industry is getting ridiculously busy this year because all of the majors have just recovered from the WGA strike and they are ramping up production in anticipation of the upcoming possible SAG strike. Unfortunately I have to take it while I can get it so I am about to enter a very crazy and busy work situation over the next three months. Rest assured playing my turn will still be a very large priority for me, unfortunately I won't be able to be as consistent as I have been and my erratic playing times will probably hinder the developments of any sort of "Groove" forming.

I want to thank you all so much for sticking with the game though. I am really excited to see it through.

Onclouds your Arabs need not worry, they are in no danger. We do not wish to exterminate anyone; the Pharaoh merely intends to enslave them.

Cannon charges the stack outside Damascus (dramatic but useless), frigates continue the bombardments of Najran and Kufah (boring but effective).
 
I decided to take back Mecca instead of Damascus... My people demanded that I took back our capital. =)

England is doing Nothing for Arabia. Onclouds feels he can handle things himself. The only request he has made is aid in troop transfer.

The Greeks are fulfilling his request. German troops gifted to Greece to take across the river and gift to Arabia. A small token of support that Greece is happy to give.

Look at the power graphs. A dip in Germany and a equal rise in Greek power confirm it.

I'd like to see what is happening to the tribes I started, so very long ago now...
 
This raises an interesting question. There are German troops on a Greek transport protected by Greek cruisers. These German troops are effectively granted a "safe" journey to aid Arabia.

Would it be acceptible for 1889 to engage and sink this Greek fleet harboring enemy soldiers?
 
1889 can absolutely attack the greek fleet to kill those soldiers if he chooses. If that did happen I would assume that things would escalate from there.

However, right now all of our intelligence speculates that he would be unable to out gun the destroyers with current Egyptian naval presence in the area.

Too bad ships can't block each other unless war is declared. The only non combative way to stop the transfer would be to form a naval blockade and surround the Greek ships. As they are not authorized to engage the Egyptian military.

I went to Tim to get my German troops in Arabia as if I had transported them in German ships 1889 would probably declare war on Germany as well and then I'd have 2 battle fronts (and probably lose my 2 civs =) ).

The obvious response to your escalation would be for French troops to travel all the way to Arabia to fight Germans. But then it would be silly to allow a practically undefended German city to control resources and passage right on the French boarder. Pasargadae has been captured.

I have also captured Düsseldorf. But if the Germans agree to stop traveling aboard English or Greek ships then that city will be returned, and France will cease all hostilities.

(BTW having Tim gift units to you is not acceptable either. Lets not have to consult our lawyers here, you know what I mean.)


And if anyone still cares Egypt bombarded Mecca, Najran and Kufah. Also killed a bunch of stuff in Mecca but didn't have enough dudes to take it.

The Germans will stop traveling to Arabia of course. But only to defend their homeland, not to obey to any trigger happy dictator! =)

I realize this probably means I won't be playing the game much longer but at least it's exciting to see what cities I've lost when I receive the save. xD
