1. What is Shift In Alliance? 2. UI Cleanup

Sorry wanted to ask two questions at once. First one is if anyone knows what the "Shift In Alliance" event is, and if it is part of VP? AFAIK there's a chance for up to several buildings in a City to be destroyed when it occurs. There doesn't seem to be any preceding warning or event.

Second question is, is there any way to remove the white text that pops up at the middle top of the screen when damage is dealt to your units after ending your turn? And is there any way to remove the bonuses to yields from Techs whenever you mouse over terrain?

AFAIK the "Shift in Alliance" is meant to be a quest similar to "Barbarian Hordes" (thus appear where other quests appear), when barbarian assault the city. The difference is, instead of the city being taken by barbarians if there are still barbarians in vicinity, the actual Ally of the city have their influence set back to very low (can't say exact numbers).
