1000 clues your civ3 management skills need help

153. You lose big city in the middle of your empire, to some desperate, last chance AI D-day consisting two crusaders on galley - cause you overlooked them. Then it takes few turns to get your knights to the position from the other end of empire.

154. Your core is undefended during war.

Not a bad thing. You want your border towns protected, since an AI at war wont bother to bury into your core to attack if it can attack something closer.

155. You have a ROP with the Zulu
156. You leave a city undefended while you have a ROP with the Zulu.

I did this yesterday.:cringe:

I mean while your core is all you have of your civ... ;) or at least it's almost all of your civ...

158. You ROP raped 2 civs on the same turn: The Germans and the Zulu.

14. When you're one turn from getting a technology, you don't check if you could lower the slider and still get it in the same turn.
Exactly, that's a mistake people can actully make but it's still bad!

I didn't figure that out for several games- I needed to look at some SG's before I figured it out.

159: You move your stack of 200+ Radar artilley (recently upgraded) ito enemy terretory. But you forget to upgrade your Infantry escorting them. And your enemy have MAs. :D Enjoy the WW

He can only have so many. If there's enough Infantry, they can hold off the MA's for 1 turn. Then the RA's bomb all the MA's down to 1hp. Then the Infantry beat them (Most of them). Besides, who said they were in republic? They could be in Communism.

160. Even though you are in Democracy, and have no luxuries, you attack a civ with a larger and more experienced military. You are forced to revolt, and you go straight back to Democracy. (I dont know if this is possible, but i assume so)

^
That reminds me .
161. You start a revolt and when you have to choose a new government you chose the exact one you were before the revolt because you didn't have a clue what government you were before OR what government you wanted to change to.

Guilty. :D In one of my first games. :D

163: You actually revolt during war- and not because of WW!

165. You've never actually seen a complete Palace. :)

that's almost possible...

Almsost guilty... I think I've seen one once.

Of course, WW will never *force* you to revolt, if you are in Republic. ;)

 what I meant to say was you had to get out of republic because the WW was so bad (100% lux, all luxuries w/ marketplaces and cities are still rioting), but i've never been in that situation before

I don't think Low WW can be anywhere near that bad. If it can, anyone it happens to is a very bad war fighter, and any bad war fighter needs to be in a warmonger government to make up for it- or they will lose of conquest before 3000 BC.
