As Spain I built a third city (next to the barrier reef ) which now produces 6 :c5science: on the city tile. No other cities in the world have a science bonus on their tiles.

There's a +6 science on city opportunity that probably got incorrectly flagged to that city.

I had a look through the possible triggers which would have had this effect and vaguely remember a library controversy coming up... sorry.

P.S. should that effect be appearing on the library or the city tile?

I place yield changes on the city tile, because for some weird reason Firaxis chose to not make buildings an "object." There's no way to directly link things to a building. I could make it look that way in the user interface, but it's the same effect either way.

That's cool, no need to change it. I was just wondering how things worked, the science tooltip has it turn up in base as terrain not building.

It's sort of like how vanilla maritime citystates place food directly on the terrain. Cities just aren't designed well in the code, so terrain bonuses are often easier to do.
