1650AD: Let's rewrite History!

What does this additional gamespeed change compared to the normal speed, e.g. two rounds each year instead of one?
It's only a matter of time scale (how long a turn represents a year, a semester, a quarter...). The idea is simply that there are 150 years between the beginning of the game and independence rather than 300 years.

It doesn't affect gameplay at all. The game is played exactly like in "normal" speed. I've just made the change so that the war of independence happens by the end of the 18th century rather than at the beginning of the 20th century which would feel odd.

Does adding that file mean that I would have a choice of that new gamespeed when starting any other scenario too?
e.g. normal, epic, marathon, 1650speed?
Indeed, there is a new speed option. However, the default start date for most other scenarios is 1492, which means that using the "1650 start" speed will make the war of independence happen around the beginning of the 17th century.
