If madviking doesn't make it, then you can have Napoleon. jhauser & PaulMTC have responded & are now in.. so 3 to go.

The difficulty of the game should make no difference. But since we have barbarians both early in the game, and awaiting us en masse in the new world.. we'll go Noble, since its the 'even' platform.

As for the options, I only included the ones we 'tick', so yes, tech trading is allowed.

And Ashtrix, thanks for that.. I just got a mail from him before.

I can't wait.. only 2 spots to fill. Man, i do NOT want to be the chump who finds himself with a not-so ideal starting location...

Two last things...

1. Do you think we should have a turn limit where we can't attack each other?

2. I have decarth listed as player 1. Does that mean he/she will have to initialise the game? If so, then I'll have to shift me to the top of the list and change the order around that way.

Turn Limit? As in a no-attack buffer? Well, I just don't want to get my butt kicked so early on in a game that I hope will last a very long time... because it will be a long time to wait for the next one!

Ok you're in... but I do need some typical time where you expect to recieve the game... also... since you're the last to join.. you have the choice of..

- Malinese (Mansa Musa)
- Spanish (Isabella)
- Americans (Roosevelt or Washington)

If i don't hear your choice by the time I start the game, I'll default you as Mansa.

but some nations have their specific units early in a game! Isn't it a biased approach to deprive them of their right to use their benefit?=)))

Good point. Ok, well then it could be war from the get-go :S

P.S. The game has begun! Check out the front page to see your turn order and playing time... it's currently... 11:50pm... so my first turn to kick the game off is in just over 8 hours...

Doh... Mr Pike is number 2.. I wonder if he's even had his turn yet! The thing is, this game took 2 weeks to establish... so I'm thinking the first few days, some of us might not realise the game's gotten under way.. then hopefully we'll get ourselves into a good routine, and a good run.
