Began receiving archaeologists in my capital in ancient era. After each is born i recieve more points, i am up to over a million now. Sometimes having 3 born in one turn. Started happening aftyer i built the Kuk wonder from overhaul wonders for VP, but i do not believe the 2 are connected.

VP does not have "archeologist points", you build them with normal production. It might not actually affect the game more than visually, since the archeologist isn't appearing anyways. I would say there is a very high probability that it's a mod conflict, does one of your mods change archeologists to a great person type?

There's nothing wrong with posting to this forum, however in the future Quick Questions is a better thread to ask in: https://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/quick-questions-quick-answers.573489/

1) As I just said on Github, report it on the mod's forum thread - this is a mod conflict and VP devs don't generally debug those. Bug reports are ideal when no other mods (aside from VP and certain mods that never cause conflicts, like IGE and Quick Turns) are in use.

2) Please enclose large images in spoiler tags like so:
Code:

3) If reporting a bug, it's okay to post in the version thread or Quick Questions to ask/notify the forumgoers, but in future please do not create a new thread for a simple bug report - they are addressed on Github, not here. Also, if reporting a bug it should always go on Github. It is much more likely to be missed here.

No hostility or blame intended, just some tips for future posting here. :)

Thank you for the tips! Sorry this is one of my first times posting here. I posted this here because i highly doubt my other mods are solely to blame.

They are spawning in my capital sometimes up to 3 a turn which would be not that big of a deal except i have to sell them as they are increasing maintenence costs dramatically, but doing so gives me quite alot of gold.
Edit: perhaps someone could move this thread there if thats possible.

I encountered this bug too in the past.
It's a compatibility issue between VP and the Peru mod that creates a custom Archaeologist specialist for its UB Museo Andino to work, and apparently this conflicts with the way VP handles specialists.
If you want you can use the file I edited to solve the problem: I deleted the specialist so the UB won't give anymore Archaeologist points but 2 free units when constructed instead.

Thanks so much, i had a suspicion it was one of the civs as ive encountered very odd conflicts with civ mods and VP in the past.
