2050 End Date Hack?

Is there a way to get rid of the 2050 retirement date? I know that you can't "legally" (without hacking/additional/changed files), but is there a file or something to download or change that could make the end date 3050 or something, so I can have time to get through the tech tree?

There's a couple of them I believe. The one I know of is the Civ3MultiTool, which uses the save game to alter it. However, I seem to recall Gramphos, the author, saying something about the date changing not working right now with 1.17f. He'll probably have that solved soon though, if he hasn't already. You'll probably find a thread for it in the Files area.
