I have modified the middle ages MP game for pbem play.
Background
In 843, the great empire of Charlemagne is divided into three parts. The Christian leaders of these kingdoms of Franks, Germans, and Burgundians each have a holy relic that needs to be returned to Jerusalem (to earn 10000 bonus VP). A fourth relic resides with the fledgling English nation. Play as Germany, France, England or Denmark. Who can rule the greatest kingdom of the Middle Ages by the year 1453?

Victory is by domination, conquest or VP's at the ends.This is a regicide game so protect your royal family or else you are dead.

All civs have been given an extra 2 settler/warrior (except abbasids who get 3 to help them protect Jerusalem) sets to make up for the open spaces left by missing civs from the original conquests game. Plus the tundra is a bit bigger (good suggestion Loulong)

Playable civs are Germany, France, England and Denmark.
AI civs are Abbasids, Byzantines, Kievan Russ and Cordova.

4 players required to test it out. One version as 1st Crusade running. Anyone else want to try it out?

Germany - KingStuart
Abbasids - AI
France - Semental
Byzantines - AI
England - Daufoi
Keivan Russ - AI
Denmark - Hawklord
Cordova - AI

I'd suggest rules to be:
1 Report combat results with Human players in the thread. It's up to you how much you report on AI battles. Victories are always good propoganda.
2 Post something on this thread every turn you play so we know where the game is at.
3 No alliances with AI for 5 turns.

Everything else goes.

OK guys welcome aboard. 1 more to start. Germany starts, I don't want to start as I am already Germany in the other game so if you are Germany KS you will have to set up the game. (Although you must be getting good at that now )

Classical Hero doesn't exist he's a myth. Well according to his ISP he doesn't exist. I'm trying to sort out this email problem with him.

Update: Tried again and he still does not exist. Maybe he has only dissapeared temporarily

I assumed you PM'd him. I had a bounce back on my responding e-mail too. No surprise but odd. I would assume there is something wrong in the address.

Yes I pm'd him too. I have just sent an email via the forum, maybe that is a different one.
If I get no response by tomorrow I will post for a replacement player. There is definately a rabbitt away here.

OK well it looks like we need a new player and since Daufoi has offered and is in an appropriate time zone welcome aboard. I will send an ammended email to everybody with the new emails and order.
I guess CS has problems of some sort.

I don't want to cut CH out, he may have problems beyond his control. Why don't we restart with Daufoi and when CH sorts out his problems I'll sort out a 3d crusade to include him. Hey! the more the merrier.
