Two down, computers obtained, 62 Inf upgraded to MI with ~15 conscripts not done (although 450g is pretty cheap). 1 mandatory specialist converted to a scientist for research toward radar arty. Monty signed on to our hit list again. Both the Celts and Aztecs have huge navies. Why aren't we seeing them bombarding our coasts?

Well, ask a stupid question... The fleets showed up, but arty took all the Celts to red, just couldn't follow up for kills. Should have jets there next turn for kills. Two more down, got a MGL & built another tank army. All 4 fleets are moving around - wonder why.

Early-

Start off by in 1798 by changing Sala from Army to Manhattan Project.

Celts captured Latrobe as I wasn't paying atttention, but took it back with cav army.

Capture Agedincum and Pamplona in 1804. Much razing and replacing. Celts northern towns similarly disappear. Start to take it to Monty now, since he has the terrain we need.

Aztecs and Celts declare on Byzantines.

Finish off palace expansion. In 1806, Capture Aztec town of Texcoco, but he recaptures it during the IBT. That same year our scientists adjust their goggles as the countdown runs it’s course at our nuclear testing facility. “I am become death, the destroyer of worlds.” :devil:

In 1808 the Celts are evicted from the mainland as Lapurdum falls. Steal his military plans as well for about 1500g. Aztecs lose Teotihuacan and Tepexpan to us. Artillery SOD to within range of Tenochtitlan.

Building lots and lots of settlers to fill in the holes. And cultural buildings to add more tiles on our way to domination.

Brennus is basically shut down and hiding out on his islands. :p

Mid-

In 1810, Defense Ministry announces the deployment of the SS-20 “Red Cloud” IRBM. :nuke:

The Aztec capital falls and Xochicalco as well. Now Tlateloco is taken, gotta love artillery, and sell it’s improvements off. Raze and replace.

In 1814 Tlaxcala gets captured which kept flipping Schuykill all game long. No more of that!

In 1816 basically tear down the Aztec peninsula with tanks, MI, and arty, capturing as we go. Then M60 gets overly creative and detonates not one, but two devices on Aztecs and Celts. Dad strongly disapproves and declares. :p Actually, the hope was that Theo would declare, so I could grab her tiles and go over the limit, but she was way too smart. Dad not so.

Population pushing over 70%, just need land now. :)

Late-

Keep cranking settlers out. Fill in a few small openings here and there to get to the dom limit. Make peace with Celts, another not-so-bright move as Alesia flips and we lose Hoover’s. :( Well, the game is almost over. Almost 10K in the bank. Nothing really to do with it.

Dad launches a couple feeble attacks. Hit the 10 turn mark, but don’t know that Grams wants it for only a couple. Head over the 66% mark in terrain on my turn 12 in 1822. In a final reminder to his child, Dad’s cultural superiority claims another town, but matters not. And so the Prodigal Son, whose back at one time was against the wall and waaay behind in tech, dominates the world! Score 5513. :king:

Well done, folks! This one took some time, but was a lot of fun. I really felt all along that Salamanca would get us through this. It was just a monster starting location and made all the difference. And the steals were almost perfect. Commie’s my favorite gov in C3C now, hands down. Deals with those Fascist devils every time.

Fun game. Things were rough in the beginning, but, as M60 pointed out, the army factory got us through. I think I'll replay this as an epic game without the prodigal restrictions and see where it goes.

Great finish, M60! I enjoyed the game, and have THOROUGHLY learned my lesson about arty stacks. Sorry for the slow turn sets, but we've been having some extended family issues for a few months, and it has only just gotten better in the last day or two.

I look forward to the opportunity to game with you Comrades again in the future.
