30 Day Song Challenge

Day 28 - A song that makes you feel guilty. Can't think of a song that does that...

Day 29 - A song from your childhood. 16 Tons Tennessee Ernie Ford version.

If - Pink Floyd

A lesser known Pink Floyd song that was on Atom Heart Mother. It's not very complex or lyrically brilliant, but damn is it heart-felt.

If I were the moon, I'd be cool
If I were a rule, I would bend
If I were a good man, I'd understand
the spaces between friends.

Day 26, a song that you can play on an instrument

We'll Meet Again (orig. Vera Lynn) - Johnny Cash

Hehe, thank you for that. I don't think he quite does justice to the Vera Lynn version, but I'm delighted to hear his attempt.

Day 19 - A Song from your Favorite Album

My 'favourite' stuff switches all too often, particularly when it comes to music. My current favourite album remains Mumford and Son's 'Sigh No More'. As I don't think Little Lion Man is CFC appropriate, I'll suggest 'The Cave'

Day 30. Your favorite from a year ago. OK not exactly - in honor of REM calling it quits, I'll go
with one of my favorite REM songs Felling Gravity's Pull

Metamorphos - Dave Holland

Dave Holland is what got me into playing the bass, and into music in general really.

Day 30, your favorite song at this time last year

Autumn Leaves (orig. Kosma, Prevert, Mercer) - Eva Cassidy

Honestly can't remember, this is just a guess. And that's it for the 30 day challenge! I had fun :)
