300 Posts Before You Can Get A Custom Avatar?

when I was a young postewr like you, I suffered trying to get the 300 post required for a cutom avatar.
but dont worry, sooner or later you'll get it.
if you're a regular poster (not spammer) and add interesting posts you'll soon get what you need
:goodjob:

Or it can mean recollect, reminisce, or retain. :D

It indicates random craziness.

FWIW, IMHO ivory is rather cool,
indeed, industrious religious commercial.

IIRC, the avatar size limit is 60 x 60. So, here's what your avatar would look like if shrunk down to the correct size.

Here's a little clearer pic of your avatar.. Just 233 posts to go now :)

btw, so far I remember you have had the same avatar, havent you Portuguese?

in fact this is my third avatar.
0- 300 the fighter (from the options for newbies)
301-1000 the luftwaffe poster
1001-??? Shinkan Zagato from Magic Knight Rayearth
I think its time to switch to a new avatar :)

Did you just make that up? From now on I will always think of this whenever someone uses this acronym.

On topic, at some forums you can "rate" threads and other posters. Such a system could serve to find the quality in the quantity without putting the burden on the mods.

We *used* to have the rate threads function in the Civ3 C&C finished files forums. They weren't used very much, and we had a problem with people using them for the wrong reasons, e.g. get all your friends to log on, and rate somebody elses scenario down, & rate yours up. So we turned them off.

As for rating posters, I doubt you will ever see that here. It goes against the "every poster is equal" philosophy we have.

True, Padma, and the 'bad' ones are really good at making themselves known as bad. It doesn't take much for a poster to get a bad rep here. I won't mention any AOL users around here. . . .;) :D

Why doesn't cracker know of this philosophy? ;)

Obviously every poster is not equal. There are mods, there's an admin, and the "bad" posters are banned. If every poster were kept equal here, this would be a very scary place.

Hey I'm an AOL user (albeit unwillinly).

So am I. But I wasn't talking about you. (But you knew that, didn't you?;))

Yep.

Yeah, if this was a kiddie forum.

Actually, the thing that kept me coming back to CFC after civgame.com went down was the fact that people here, even young an's (like Puglover, China444(When he's not whining about his name-change(j/k), WillJ, cgannon, and all you others I missed) were very mature for their ages. I was quite surprised to learn how young some were here.
