Actually, the thing that kept me coming back to CFC after civgame.com went down was the fact that people here, even young an's (like Puglover, China444(When he's not whining about his name-change(j/k), WillJ, cgannon, and all you others I missed) were very mature for their ages. I was quite surprised to learn how young some were here.

I'm only fourteen:cool:

I'm almost there!!! :nospam:
If anybody knows me here.....am I a spammer???

Thanks! :)

There's actually a lot more, such as Strider, Octavian X, phillippe, SoCalian, WildFire, Yoda Power, and some others that I can't think of right now.

I know - That's what the ;) and :D smilies were for: I wasn't being terribly serious. You don't spam any more than most others who are nearing 300. ;)

Good. I don't want to be known as a spammer :nospam: :D

I disagree... Goonie there is a Canadian, I'm an American. People from Mexico are Mexicans, not Americans, people from Argentina are Argentines (or Argentinians), not Americans. The popular definition of 'American' refers to nationality, not continentality.

people from argentina are argentines AND AMERICANS, more specifically south americans

@Inter32: Great signature and undeniably true. Though I think you'll have some difficulty convincing US citizens of that fact ;) (not all of them, off course)...

[threadjack]@Inter's sig: Yes, you're right about that. I really wish the USA had an adjective besides "American," so it wouldn't be so confusing.... After all, couldn't our founding fathers have thought up a better name than "The United States of America"? How uncreative is that?! ;) Not that I'm anti-American, of course. (After all, I'm American, and I love my country.)

But then again, do you ever really call yourselves American? The only time I've heard "American" not mean "USAan" is when talking about the Americas. I've never heard, say, a Mexican call himself American (not that I've heard too many Mexicans before).[/threadjack]

[hopefully ending the threadjack] Guys...words can have more than one meaning, depending on the context. It is perfectly acceptable for "Americans" to represent citizens of the United States of America when spoken in one context and "Americans" to mean those who live in N. or S. America when spoken in another.
