Before I launch a second playable version, I have to work on:
- units power balance
- add new units, civilizations, city improvement and the wonders
- give more attention to the seafaring units
- develop a tech tree
- re-place/add/remove cities and building in the map
- make few others changes.

this is so awesome! i just say the movie, and all i can say is wow.

Don't say any more Im already on the way out the door!

I checked out the website and limewired "Just like you Imagined " to my 'Civ tunes' playlist. Mybe You should add it to the mods music files unless its to contrastin with the feel of the others

I've Just Seen 300, And I Can't Stop Shouting! I'm Going To Talk This All Day!

Moderator Action: We're glad you liked it, however, there's no need to shout quite that loud. ;)

Sao Paulo Brasil here

Which version is this mod playable at it.

I bet the answer will be conquest just because I don't have it .

Conquests. Buy this version, I think it is pretty cheap now, neighboor ;)

BTW, I watched the movie some hours ago, IT IS FANTASTIC!!! :goodjob:

I'm going to wait for the second release before I download...
Some pointers as well as some constructive criticism:

1. The ring piercings on Xerxes are too bright, try to tone the color down and match it up with the scene.
2. As previously mentioned, the archers need to be grabbing for their bow before they shoot.
2.5 The attack for the archers needs to be more fluent. It seems that for every one shot, he returns to his original position. If the battle last long, then he will do this a number of times which is unrealistic.
3. The Immortal Horseman need to be going through the motions of grabbing an arrow, then pulling the bow back before he shoots.
3.5 The spartan horse shouldn't be bobbing his head up and down during the attack. The spear should be driven from the side of the horse, not above its head. Same goes for the Immortal Horse. The bow should be just off to the side a bit, so the the horse's head does not get in the way.
4. The Greek swordsman his looks like he is lunging his sword forward like a spear. Make him attack like a real swordsman.
5. You might want to add some fidget animations to spice things up a bit.

Hope you take some of my suggestions into consideration. Other than that, great idea, great effort, surely this MOD will work its way to being very popular!

@polyphemus : thanks for all these suggestions! :goodjob: But I've exported these artworks weeks ago, I can't change them anymore :( In case I'd export the artworks again, I'll change them using your suggestions. Thanks buddy! :)

@Shiro: Please, post your poses. A suggestion is someone starts a paperdoll poses library, not only for archery units, but for all the units. Maybe this on the tutorial session.

Should put a rhinoceros unit for the Persians if this mod want to be true from movie.Quite cool when one of Spartans threw a spear at it while charging toward him that nearly touched his feet.

In the movie the Spartans didn't have any horses, so maybe you should not include horses in the Spartans territory, but give some to their allies?

Is this any Rhinoceros unit done?

Cool!

To be honest though I absolutely hate that movie. I don't think it does any justice what so ever to the history and is all fabrocated to a hollywood directors personal vendetta for his own creativity. This is the guy who made Sin City after all. Not to mention the casting was aweful.

And i can't believe what they did to Xerxes! :vomit:
