There's been two situations happening with increasing regularity lately. I'm going to address them both here, since they both relate to 4000bc.sav files within HOF submissions.
Situation #1:
Situation #2:

Situation #1:
- I log on and find a PM from x user saying "I just finished a game that could qualify for the HOF but I don't have the 4000bc.sav. What should I do?"
- First let me say I'm not at all annoyed by such PM's! I'm only adressing this publically because it's becoming a regular event. While I do prefer 4000bc.sav's, in this situation you should send in the earliest.sav you do have left. Using the other three optional slots for three other .sav's (the dates don't have to match) would be immensely helpful.
Situation #2:
- Player y submits a game with the 4000bc.sav and the turnafterwin.sav, but the files don't match. I.e., they're different maps/games!
- This has been happening a lot lately, and I'm not sure why. On rare occasions we do verify games based off of just one file, but as a rule of thumb, we don't. I would strongly encourage everyone to make sure they're submitting the correct 4000bc.sav. Additionally, you can also use the 1000bc.sav option slot to submit your 3950bc.autosav. That way even if the 4000bc.sav is wrong, I've still got two files to work with.
