5 meals 5 leaders!

Why is everyone so interested in meeting wicshade's grandparents? :mischief:

Anyways, this reminds me on a (LDS, oddly enough) professor I had in college who asked us at the beginning of both the courses I took with him, if we could meet 3 people who they would be. He said that saying Jesus or the Virgin Mary was not allowed, as doing so would make the person who had just gone before you, and not mentioned them, feel dumb.

Well, if he's Dubya Bush like his avatar suggests, then we can talk to Prescott Bush!

Anyways...
1. My maternal grandfather (died in 1980, would like to know more about his experiences in the Polish armed forces and resistence)
2. Anyone that might tell me if the link to the commander of the Alamo is true or not.
3. Jesus H. Christ, for all sorts of things.

I suppose 4 and 5 will have to be filled in when I think about it. But anyone can suggest awesome people to talk to, aside from wicshade's grandparents, since they'll have a group discussion with OT!

(I'd say Karl Rove, but he's due to talk with my class next week, so that'd already be off the table.)

Bono - tons of reasons, the most reason is WHY? (I am the Walrus)
ONE OF: Joe Sakic/Peter Forsberg/Patrick Roy
ONE OF: John Elway/Payton Manning/Troy Aikman/Terrell Davis
FDTruman - is a Pres/Vice Pres too much to ask for?
Moses - token Jew.

1) Jesus Christ - Should be interesting
2) Paris Hilton - will tell her she is my top 5 and hope i get lucky.
3) Warren Buffet - Like to know more about him and how much he pay his Manager and how he choose them
4) My great great grandpa - just curious
5) Annabel Chong - Hope i get lucky the 2nd time.

Jesus
Octavian Augustus, first (and arguably one of the best) Roman Emperors
Jessica Alba
My great-great-great-great-great-great-grandfather.

And I have to think some more about my other choice :D

1. B.F. Skinner, I would love to speak about politics with this man.

2. Plato, so that I can actually understand what his philosophy is all about.

3. Nietzsche, I just find his philosophy interesting

4. Frank Herbert, I find his books and thoughts as interesting as any philosophers.

5. William Golding, I would like to discuss his insight

1) Jesus of Nazareth. I've got a lot of questions for him.
2) Mohammed. I've got some questions for him, too.
3) Moses. The four of us will sort this whole religion thing out real quick.
4) Groucho Marx. Probably the funniest guy of all time.
5) The Pope, so he can be there to see it all, and get it right when he goes back to Rome. And maybe pick up a line from Groucho.

:rotfl:

You made my day.

1. Scarlett Johansson
2. Jesus

Others I do not care.

Just out of curiosity: What would you all like to talk with Hitler, Stalin or Einstein? It feels like communication with them wouldn't be so easy or fruitfull (Einstein for different reasons though).

1) My future wife (so I can break the ice, I'm tired of waiting...)

2) Leonardo DaVinci (Enlightenment)

3) Albert Einstein (Enlightenment)

4) Plato (Atlantis is where?)

5) Jesus (Liar, Magician, Genius, or Alien?)

1) Boudicaea
2) Imhotep
3) Kurt Cobain
4) Hannibal
5) Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Five aspects of my personality, right there.

3) Kurt Cobain

I almost went with this one. In fact, since Jesus isn't necessarily a "for sure" person from history... if it's just a conjured figure, Cobain is the alternate. ;)

Well I'm not going to put words in other people's mouths but I would be interested talking to them to see what was going through their minds...everybody tries to justify their actions and I would love to hear their reasons.
And talking with Einstein would not be easy no, but I certainly think it would be fruitfull.

Okay, the other two will be Saladin and I'd sure love to have that beer with George Dubya Bush that was promised when he was elected.
