Anyone else watch the Presidential Address?

I don't think I'm allowed to say since the rules at the start of this thread say to not talk about Obama. I'm not sure if telling you what he said counts as talking about him.

It isn't Obama, but his speech :D

Okay, the main thing he said was that his goal was to completely eradicate ISIS. He's going to send more soldiers to Iraq to train Iraq soldiers and I believe he said he was going to train Syrian soldiers as well once both countries get a stable government. We're not going to have US soldiers on combat missions, only training Iraqi and Syrian soldiers to fight ISIS. Everything else he said was the usual words about the US fighting for the values it stands for and about how the people, the president, and the Congress must have the same goal to stay united and appear strong in the face of ISIS. He also said that the economy was going well by saying things such as we're having the highest job growth rate in the history of the nation and how our industries are thriving.

So some important stuff and the same thing that has been said for the past 200 years?

Why is that noob?

Yeah.Bummer.i wanted to be an underground party during the communist era called "The Democratic Reform Party" and make a democratic socialist government and not a communist dictatorship

I'm thinking about organizing an S&T awards, as has been done in previous years. Do you think I should? I think it would be pretty cool.

I say we should.

Yeah, I'd be willing to do it, I just want to see if the group wants me to. If I do, I'd probably start it in early December (with modified rules).

Ok, but since we've skipped a year, we'd have to include both years.

Nah, I believe we should start small and only have 1 year.

We need to make sure it isn't hurtful and that people aren't hurt by it. I mean, we obviously know who would be the best IAAR. But other topics might not be as clear.

Not necessarily as I'm sure that you are thinking of RT's first America story. To me, the best IAAR is adhiraj's, "A Tryst with Destiny", story.

I take that back when I said its the best, I think that RT's America will be voted in. I would like for my Brazil but I'm not that hopeful  I'd appreciate a top 5 :p
