720 AD Trade's

The owner (Germany) gets any techs that at least 2 contacted civs know in between turns. I.e. we can conclude all trades. Germany will even pay for techs.

tao:
addition: he gets it at the beginning of next turn, if he hasn't got Education then.

It is really important to gift / sell Germany Education, no doubt about it. But at the end of the turn is soon enough. What I meant is that we don't have to lower our sales-price for Education by increasing the number of civs who have it, thus by giving it to Germany at the beginning of the trade-session.

Simply put: trade away Education and after that (and all other trades), gift Germany Education.

Then, in the midst of all the contact trading, Germany gains Invention from the Great Library.

No strider: they only get techs in the IBT. And only if they haven't got Education yet. So if we give them Education, they will never again get techs. If we don't give them Education, they will only get techs in their IBT.

They won't get Invention. Not as long as you make sure that before our turn ends; they have education.

I would recommend downloading the newest save, like I said, both us and Persia has education:
I now discovered why I had the "wrong" attempt on trading in 720ad. The save referenced in the turnchat thread is 710. We have to hit "enter" to start 720ad. It might have been advisable to make a clearer indication of this fact.

I apologize for that. I thought I had included that final save. It is now fixed in the turn chat thread.

The correct link has been in the Game Saves thread.

Here is a *final* version of my proposed trades (in order):

(1)Persia: World Map, 64gpt, and 20g for all of our contacts, except the egyptian contact
(2)Egypt: Invention for all of our contacts and 149g
(3)Babylon: World Map, 6gpt, and 50 gold for all of our Contacts...minus the Persian and Egyptian contacts.
(4)England: World map and 120g for all of our contacts except Egypt, Persia, and Babylon
(5)Persia: See what Persia offers for Invention, take it if there is any amount of gpt involved, or if the amount of lump gold is large enough.
(6)Babylon: See what Babylon offers for Education and/or invention. take it if there is any amount of gpt involved, or if the amount of lump gold is large enough.
(7)Egypt: See what Egypt offers for Education, take it if there is any amount of gpt involved, or if the amount of lump gold is large enough.
(8)Germany: Gift Education to Germany

Looks good. Although, you shouldn't give Egypt contact with Persia.

Why?

I predict taht once we trade some contacts, the AIs will trade the rest the next turn. Thus it is better to deprive them of trade value by gifting contacts at the end of trades.

Well, we could gift them, or get whatever little we can from the AI.
