This proposal is the exact same as:

Except that "Difficulty-based Supply from Population" is set to 25 (from 20) and "Supply from Population Tech Divisor" is set to 50 (from 100).

This effectively gives more supply from population.

Rationale: "(8-44) azum4roll's Unit Supply Rework" does a great job at reducing mid-game supply but it goes too far.
When thinking about where to change the numbers it's helpful to think about what we want: We want Tall and Wide to be able to compete with each other.
So what do they have in common? They both have large populations so that's where I decided to increase unit supply.

I don't need to play to estimate troops supply compared to the current state. Less troops means less clutter, more strategy and movement contemplation - me liking it...
Btw there's no such thing as "enough supply" as some ppl always want to have "just one more unit" on top of "just one more turn" addiction... ;)

"Supply from Population Tech Divisor" is set to 50 (from 100).
Woah, calm down there. I think people are mostly having troubles with early game supply? This one only affects the late game.

In my current game at Turn 381 Late Modern, my Total Tech Level Reduction was -57!

After I changed the Divisor, the reduction is still at -46.

@Pipiskus You're hallucinating :)
See the red text here:

I would sponsor this except I think this will result in insanely high lategame supply.

@Recursive is tech progress a fraction of the total number?
If so, this change amounts to a roughly 33% increase to the supply from population?
The proposal is to halve the tech penalty that reduces supply from population.

Based on this formula:

(Supply from Population / (100 + UNIT_SUPPLY_POPULATION_TECH_REDUCTION_MULTIPLIER * Tech Progress %)

You're also adding 100 to the denominator so it's not really a 50% change to Supply.

Yes but tech progress is a fraction researched techs / total techs, is it? I couldn't find this in the OP

Right so 33%, yes?

Hmm, okay, it's not as high as I thought. I still don't think it's the right solution, though. I'd favor keeping both divisors at 100% and changing the other values around it.

Timestamp post to arrange all the threads in a neat order.
